Bug: Incorrect Metadata

Following installation of L5 in Windows 8 VM using Method 3, I found incorrect metadata is my user Tags and Ratings.

The first value/number is from L5 followed by the value/number from L4.

This issue needs to be sorted if L5 is going to be released soon as there will be metadata discrepancies between an L4 installations and L5 installation (as well as resource discrepancies --> http://community.logos.com/forums/t/55327.aspx).

A similar metadata issue in L4 took nearly 12 months to resolve but now there are problems with user metadata.

Dave,

The server data is in accord with what you have listed for the Logos 5 results.

Are you able to sync a rating or tag change from your Logos4 instance to your Logos5 instance (e.g. rate a book that you haven't rated in Logos 4, wait for it to sync and then see if it shows up in Logos 5)?

L5 is getting the wrong data. My installations of L4 match the values quoted for L4 and have been manually monitored for changes since before I reported the original issue with L4 metadata over 15 months ago.

The discrepancies show right now with one L4 open alongside L5. My Greek TR Bibles collection is showing 6 resources in L4 and 0 resources in L5 because mytag:TR is missing from L5. The Greek Bibles collection has 16 [10] because of Ratings discrepancies.

I just rated The 365 Devotional 1 star and it showed in L5; overall numbers for rating:0 are now 319 [318] I Cleared the rating in L5 (along with 131 Christians) and that was reflected in L4. Totals now 321 [320]. Put 131 Christians back to 1 in L4 --> totals are now back to 320 [319]. Rating 1 is also unchanged at 227 [235].

Dave, thanks for the feedback it was very helpful in finding the problem.

I believe I have your server data fixed now. Will you force Logos 5 to sync and ensure that your custom data is to your expectation?
