Unable to install on Windows 8

Logos 5 stops installing on Windows 8 system, because it requires the NET 4.5 installation, but since it is part of the OS, it is not installing NET 4.5 and is not possible to install it manually. It just says the NET 4.5 is part of the system already and terminates the installation. Logos 5 then says there is no NET 4.5 installed and terminates the installation also.

That certainly wasn't my experience with Windows 8 RTM (build 9200). What version have you got? How is it installed e.g. in a Virtual Machine?

Dave, I don't know where is the problem. I have Windows 8 Release, build 8400 as my main system. I created a second account. First it did not install to the standard account, I had to change it to the Administrators account type. Than it loaded installer correctly but got stuck on the NET 4.5 install, saying that it needs it, but is not able to install it. I will play with it a little bit more to find out more.

It might be that the version of .NET 4.5 is different to what L5 expects - I think Win 8 RP only has the .NET 4.5 RC (Release Candidate). Try Windows Update to see if there are any updates.

Exactly so. I use Logos 4 on Win8 for quite long and it is the same as on Win 7. Logos 5 has a problem to install on build 8400 of Win 8 RP.

OK, I installed new version of Windows 8 Enterprise RTM build 9200 on another HD and all works great. Logos 5 installed flawlessly. Now I have a dilemma how to upgrade my main system disk to that version of Windows (90 days evaluation copy) without the need to reinstall all. It refuses to just upgrade Release Preview.
