Best Way to write own "Study Bible?"

I was looking for thoughts on the best way to write and continuously update my own "study Bible." I am wanting to go completely digital, but I have so many personal notes in my Bible that I want to transfer into Logos some way. Currently I have a note file that is simply "Everett's Study Bible" but it is getting quite large. I also want to be able to access it kind of like a commentary, but to do that I think I would have to make a PBB. So anyone else have any suggestions?

Try creating a personal book with appropriate tagging. Here's the wiki page entry on how to do this:

You would want to do similarly, except in the L4 PB tool you would want to select Bible Notes for your PB type. (this type is what Logos uses for Study Bibles).

If I do a PBB will I have to submit all my changes again like a new word doc or could I make them while in logos in the pbb?

Also, is there a disadvantage to doing it as one large notes file?

If you want to make changes to a PBB you will do it yourself in Word ( the file that you already have). Then you will recompile and such.

I have heard that logos slows down having large note files to contend with. I am not a real good person to ask.....I have lots of stuff that I have written but I keep it out of logos. I just don't know how to really use logos for the (keep the study materials) other than the library that I can go back to......
