Morph proximity search failure

I'm trying to find all instances of a preposition followed immediately by any derivative of faith.

So... Seems like this should work:

Searching "All Morph Text" in "Romans - Philemon" in "NA27 with gramcord" with "GRAMCORD Greek Morph" for...

@P BEFORE 1 lemma:πίστις

But I get all kinds of results that do not match that criteria.

It appears I am getting all verses with a preposition and the word faith, regardless of the location of the preposition in proximity to the word faith.

I only want results like:

dia pistews
ek pistews
etc...

Not
dia something else something else something else pistews

Noticed WORD missing, For grins, tried Morph searching for several cognates and allow for definite article to appear:

@P BEFORE 1-2 WORDS (lemma:πιστεύω, lemma:ὀλιγοπιστία, lemma:ὀλιγόπιστος, lemma:πιστικός, lemma:πίστις, lemma:πιστός, lemma:πιστόω)

Eric, Have you tried using a syntax search for this? The problem with formatting this as a morph search is that you don't get all the hits you should because the prepositional phrase is longer than 4 words (such as Acts 24:24 or Rom 1:12), or you get false hits where a prep phrase is only 2 or 3 words long followed by a 'faith' word (such as Acts 14:23). Syntax searches can be difficult to wrap your brain around, but if you work with them, in conjunction with morph searches, they can give you much better results. The following is a template in Cascadia syntax search -- I just added the lemma πίστις -- you can add some of the other lemmas that KS4J added if you want to look for them.

THanks, I have not played with Syntax searches... a bit of a learning curve.

This does seem to provide a more accurate result, BUT, it lacks the spreadsheet analysis and grouping feature of the morph search [:(]. Bummer.

I there any way to get the syntax search to provide the analyzed results of the morph search?
