1. Syntax is pedantic e.g.

• verb-lexical-value --->  verb-lexical
• verb-louw-nida:louw 33.176 ---> verb-louw-nida:33.176
• adverbial-surface -->  adverbial  (when this is the only form of an adverbial query)

I know you don't have type all of it to get a suggestion, but it would speed manual entry when familiar with the syntax.

2. adverbial-surface:Ἰησοῦ  produces results that are Verbal clauses in Cascadia SBL.  Why are they called adverbial here?

3. verb-lexical-value:take brings up suggestions  like "to take", "to take, to receive" which appear valid when clicked but give zero results. It only gets highlighted in red when followed by a space. Why make such confusing suggestions?

4. verb-louw-nida:louw 33.176  is invalid (red highlighted) unless followed by a space

Whilst a free text input would be ideal  e.g. Jesus with Peter, there could be a lot of ambiguity in parsing this into

subject:Jesus (Son of God) object:Peter

So why not start by typing Jesus, choosing Jesus (Son of God), and then suggest possible functions with an explanation e.g.

• Subject    - grammatical subject of the clause
• Object      - direct object of the clause
• Object-surface   -  explain what this means!

Rather than re-arrange the input represent the choice as follows:

Jesus (Son of God)=Subject

and then continue in like fashion to end up with:

Jesus (Son of God)=Subject  Peter=object

 

When I originally ran this query it included Matt 5:40 in the 4 results and omitted Matt 17:1. Now I can't reproduce  and get 18 results!
