L5 (like L4) prevents AutoHide Task bar from showing after minimize/restore

Can this be fixed?

Using Win7 64bit, Home Premium, SP1. Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5700 @ 1920 X 1080 (on primary monitor; native resolution).

Steps:

1. Ensure that "Auto-hide the taskbar" is checked.
2. Start L5 (or L4) maximized on your primary monitor.
3. (Hover over task bar to ensure that it displays.)
4. Minimize L5 (with either the minimize button on the upper right, or the "Show Desktop" button on the taskbar).
5. Restore L5.
6. Hover over task bar area.

Expected result: auto-hidden task bar should display.

Actual result: auto-hidden task bar does not display.

By navigating to an open window on a second monitor, I can hover over the auto-hidden task bar on the primary monitor and it will display.

I can provide more details about my desktop settings, if this would help track down and solve this issue.

I can reproduce this bug and have added a note to the case that it's still happening under WPF4.
