Anyone else experiencing this? Forum behaving strangely.

Several times I've posted a reply to a thread, only to be popped back into that thread without my newly posted reply showing up yet. I click Refresh on my browser and my reply still doesn't show up. If I come back to that thread a minute or so later, my reply is finally there.

Also, I saw a subject line for someone else's post which said it had two replies, and it was blue showing that there was a new reply I hadn't seen yet. When I clicked on it to go see that new reply, it wasn't there, and there was only one reply visible.

Very odd...

I have the same experience, but my posts usually show up when I refresh the page—but not always. It is sometimes as you have described.

Also, another thing: When I write a post and add tags to it, once the post does show up in the forum, if I click on that tag to see what other posts other people have done under that tag, I get "Sorry, but there are no more tags available to filter with." This was with a new tag that perhaps nobody else had ever used before ("art") but it didn't even show my post which I'd just created under that tag. Now several hours later, and several more posts by me with that tag, it still says "Sorry, but there are no more tags available to filter with" and then shows four of my posts. But I think I did more than four using that tag. Very frustrating!

Oh, I see what it's doing when I search by tag. It's only showing me those posts within the particular sub-forum I'm in when I click on a tag. Is there any way to do a global search across all the Logos forums for all posts with a given tag?

The last couple of days this has happened to me a few times. I have taken to "Ctl-A, Ctl-C, End" to keep a copy in the paste buffer as I edit. I thought it was just me accidentally pressing a mouse button.

I have found this software tough to use since it was introduced. In some ways I have gotten used to it and its suckiness, but it is seriously lacking in usability.

Yeah, I always do that before posting anything on the web. Have had too many painstakingly edited posts disappear on me.
