Of all the things in L4 I miss the most, it's the close tab button on the right of a window. I presume it went because it might appear as though it closed all tabs, but I really miss it.

It was quicker the 'old' way, but I occasionally closed a window I hadn't intended, because it didn't have the focus. I suppose others may have run into that and also prompted the change.
I actually prefer it this way, and would guess it's more intuitive,, since it's more similar to how tabs work in my web browsers.
But I usually close a tab using center-click on my wheel mouse (tab doesn't even need to be open - I like that).
I like it the new way also. Looks more logical to me.
I keep looking for it where it was in L4 and then remember I'm in L5. It does not really matter to me where it is; for me it's just a matter of getting used to the new location.

Had to look again to see what you were talking about. It is still in the same place in L5 Mac [:^)]
New way is best for me. Every other tabbed app has the X on the tab (FireFox, IE, Chrome, Thunderbird, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes).

I agree. Forgot to say that in my previous post [8-|] Wonder why the Mac version did not move?
