Footnote/Copy-Paste question

Hello, first off, I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I just spent a bit of time attempting to utilize the search feature for the forums and it seems essentially impossible to get it to do a targeted search (e.g. find 'footnotes' only in the Logos 4 forum).  My home page displayed "A Caution to Stir up to Watch Against Sin" as the 'Book of the Day.'  I clicked on it, read it through (because it's so short) and I thought "Wow, I need to print this up to have my son do a study on it." (I also found it edifying).  Two questions arose during this process (I assume I can't print directly from the program because I couldn't find anything in the program regarding printing):

1. Although I selected all the text and pressed Ctrl-C, what ended up being pasted was only the first part of what I had selected (roughly 1 1/2 pages).  I then selected from that point to the end, and all of it pasted.  What are the limits of what one can Ctrl-C out of a resource?
2. The footnote for this resource indicates the first footnote with a superscript '1'.  When the text was pasted into the Word document I opened for this purpose, the footnote in the text still displayed as a superscript '1,' but the actual footnote at the bottom of the page shows as '1 1 1'?  Is this a bug or is there something about footnotes I'm not understanding?

If you want to find something on these forums bypass the search box, go to Google and do a search restricted to this community.logos.com, you'll get a much better result. Also, check out wiki.logos.com lots of helpful information is there... it's a whole lot easier to browse than the forum.

1) Yes, there's a limit to how much you can copy and paste at a time, but I don't know what it is. I bet if you did a character count of your first copy you'd find out a rough estimate.

2) This is an issue I've noticed before. As much as I can tell when Logos copies the footnotes it looks at the footnote number in the book and just copies it as text. When you past into Word the word processor automatically generates footnote numbers and then pastes the text of the footnote which includes the number again.

I guess you could categorize this as a bug but I prefer to turn off copying footnotes in the Program Settings.
