It looks like I also will need to delete things. Maybe Visual Markup, Style, Visual Filter? Others?

I don't know enough to just "have at it".

I appreciate any advise.

Well, I went ahead and delted my visual filters. That seems to have done the trick. Now, I just would like to get some of them back. I know it will probably be futile...but I'm going to try getting them back from my Logos 3. Or from my instance on my other PC. I will keep you posted.

They were the cause of the crash!

I know it will probably be futile...but I'm going to try getting them back from my Logos 3. Or from my instance on my other PC. I will keep you posted.

If it syncs they are gone! Backup the \Logos4\Documents folder before you try anything and then Work Offline.

Please let us know whether that works. I have a couple of filters that are crashing the beta, but I don't want to delete them because they are fairly complicated. If I knew that I could get them back I wouldn't have so many qualms.

Sorry Eleanor, it doesn't seem to work.

I am a bit upset about this...though I understood the risks with Beta. Maybe some day the staff will figure out how we can get our filters back.

Paste does not work because the Logos server still thinks it is deleted. The copy could be used by Logos Techs, though, so keep it safe!

On PC that has visual filters, would suggest doing a backup of your Logos4 folder so have option to restore or copy to other PC's.

While Paste is not an option, renaming all the visual filters that had been deleted, followed by sync is an option. Suspect older sync delete has visual filter names so the old visual filter names would be deleted and the new names would sync and be added to other installations.
