I have come across a problem in using L4 and am curious if others have experienced it. I am currently preaching through some of the psalms and noticed that I have no available visualizations in the exegetical report. The Andersen-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis for the Hebrew bible is missing. I thought maybe it wasn't ready for L 4 and called tech support. They confirmed that it is in my library but for some reason the program is not noticing it. So logos support removed the program from my resources and restarted logos hoping that the system would add the missing file but it did not. They collected the log and will get back with me.
This problem caused me to wonder if I had other anomalies in my progaram so ran a number of morph searches with various Greek and Hebrew bibles. Several of my Hebrew Bibles returned zero results for the searches I tried. Aa couple of them did generate a report. This was true with my Greek and LXX bibles as well. In fact a couple of them returned more results than they should. I found this out by changing the view from verses to aligned text and each hit was listed 2x in per verse (so instead of 15 hits in 13 verses it was reading 30 hits in 13 verses). In one of my LXX versions the moprh tag always showed up with Hebrew characters rather than Greek ones so the report returned no hits. But if I pasted a correct tag in the search box (from a search in a similar text) it would return results.
My question is, "Should I delete my program and re-install?" I upgraded my systen from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Win 7 and had problems downloading. The program kept stopping during download and indexing. I just wonder if I got everything in the download. Or perhaps I should wait for tech support to get back to me with the solution to my first problem with Andersen-Forbes.
