Passage Guide and Comparison don't work

Description – When trying to use the Passage Guide and Comparison features but I get an error telling me I don't have internet connection. It says my internet connection is timing out. I can access the internet on both devices just not through the Bible App.
  App-- Logos Bible
  Device Info – Kindle Fire and HTC Sensation 4G
  Android Version – 2.1.2 (build 57)

We need the version of the Android OS on your device - assume 2.3 or 4.x, because the app version 2.x won't work/install on Android 2.1 or earlier.
