I really, really, really think that there should be an easy option to see the translation that the text is quoting rather than my favorite translation...not instead of but in addition to ... In this case the resource clearly isn't built on the NRSV.
This is a great idea and would be really useful.

Good point. Books can explicitly specify a Bible version; but sometimes people want to have it in their preferred Bible. (Bi-lingual users being a clear example -- reading an English reference book, wanting to view verses in Spanish.) So we generally only "force" the quoted verse when it's the point of the citation. Otherwise we'd have a lot of messy subjective calls -- if a commentator used the NKJV throughout, but you don't, do you want all popups to be in NKJV just because words or phrases from it are quoted nearby? Only when a whole phrase is quoted? etc.

The important clause, in my opinion, is:

I agree that sometimes people want to have it in their preferred Bible and they should have that option. But much of the time one wants the translation upon which the notes are based - or both translations. Technically, I can get it now if I spend enough time setting priorities ... but just from those I deemed critical I know it takes a very long time. However, most recent commentaries give us upfront what their primary translation is and note with the version abbreviation if they are using another translation. I wouldn't expect anything more than using the default stated by the resource unless the resource itself states otherwise. I'm not suggesting that you use "messy subjective calls" - we have enough of those in the resources before Logos gets them.[:D]
Some examples of ones I deem important enough to do via priorities (although I'm not done):
