I tried to re-install the Logos 4 software to my newly repaired CPU Window 7  Professional 64 bit, Quad Core 4GB RAM. After installing the Logos 4, a popped up window appeared stating that "Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working".  In the crashed report it is stating  Error WPF 0x88980406. Any advised?

Thank you and God bless!

Andres

Are you using the stable version of Logos or the Beta? Because of the issues in the current Beta, I highly recommend the Stable at this time. Also, what repairs were made to the computer? Software issues? This WPF seems to relate to .NET. But that's just a guess. It may help if you can post any logs by following the steps here:

    Andres,

After the machine was repaired did you have a chance to run all your windows updates? If not, I would do so. You may be missing an update to WPF that is causing this. WPF (or Windows presentation Foundation) is a component of Windows that we use in Logos 4. If there is something wrong with that component, than instability in Logos 4 can occur. I would advise investigating the issue related to the error message you posted, or gathering more information and talking to a certified Microsoft technician (or whoever repaired the machine). You may get more information from contemporary error messages in your Event Viewer. YOu can find that by typing Event Viewer in the Start bar's search and opening it from there. YOu'll want to choose Windows Logs>Application on the left pane.
