Collection of Study Bibles in custom Passage Guide

Quite a while ago I created a collection of study bibles using the rule (type:"bible notes") and manually adding two additional titles.

I've also been using a custom passage guide in which I've added this collection as a section of the commentary type.

Just now I discovered that this section of my passage guide never show up more than six results. My Study Bibles collection contain 15 resources and although not all of them would return results for any given passage more than six of them usually would.

For example I've let the passage guide do John 8:1-11. Six results are returned although I've manually checked and have discovered that there are at least nine of the resources that have clear references to this specific passage.

Other commentary-sections of the passage guide will present 5-6 results and then a clickable "more >>" to see further results. This is never the case with the Study bible section.

 

What am I missing? I appreciate all help!

It would help to have a screen shot. My first question would be are the study bibles entered into the Passage Guide as a collection or a commentary section? I've done something similar without noticing any problems.

Well, the study bibles are added as a commentary section. I've tried adding them as a collection section but that's not very useful since that will return every single occurrence of the given passage, rather than just wherever the passage is in a heading. I'll post a screenshot tonight when I'm at the computer again.

I could reproduce your problem when I manually added a Bible. It may work OK with a Monograph but the title won't produce results. So stick with commentaries and bible notes.

You were spot on. I had manually added a type "Bible" resource to the collection and for some reason that confuses the program into only returning the first six results.

I've removed the resource from the collection and now it works perfectly!
