Error in creating Community Note and footnotes note copied

Problems:

1. Error in creating note doesn't tell me much about how to fix it.

2. After cancelling the footnote, things look fine but every attempt to add another Community Note brings up the error-note.

3. I had to manually add the footnotes despite setting being set to include footnotes

4. I would prefer a Logos link in a nice readable format as we have for Reading Lists

5. I would prefer to be able to copy longer passages into the notes - from personal .docx files not Logos. I really haven't cleaned them up enough to want to share them publicly.

I am able to reproduce the error.  I will report the error and the less than helpful error message.

After cancelling the footnote, things look fine but every attempt to add another Community Note brings up the error-note.

I had to cancel the post and reopen the edit view to post successfully.  I will also report that issue.

There are likely technical or performative concerns which prompted the character limit.  You could create a UserVoice item for this issue.
