Might be a massive shot in the dark, but is there a way to locate text you have highlighted in a book without having to go through the whole book?

One other option - based on the new Notes functionality introduced in 4.5 - depends on whether or not all of the highlights for the book are in a single notesfile.
If so, you could just open the notesfile and scroll through it to see the highlights and notes you have made.
