Bug: Logos 4.6a Beta 4 on OS X 10.8.2 does not detect if Logos Indexer is already running.

If quit Logos 4.6a Beta 4 while have a lot to index, then launch Logos 4.6a Beta 4 on OS X 10.8.2, another Logos 4 Indexer process is started so had two Logos 4 Indexer processes running at the same time.

The Logos4.log has a message:

IndexerProcess | Indexer is not running for user ########.###.

What is the uptime on your system? We've seen this problem on previous versions of Logos4 and Mac OSX for systems with long uptimes. Rebooting will usually fix the problem.

Current uptime is 2 days, 15:07

Note: last week a power outage forcibly shut down system. After using Disk Utility on an external drive to repair internal disk and rebuild caches along with deleting dynamic library and ~/Library/Caches content, am still experiencing a number of spinning beach balls. The boot caches on the internal drive were affected so could not boot to recovery partition on internal disk.

The OS X 10.8.2 console has messages:

WindowServer: disable_update_likely_unbalanced: UI updates still disabled by application "Logos Bible Software 4" after 15.00 seconds (server forcibly re-enabled them after 1.00 seconds).

Another message is occurring frequently:

WindowServer: CGXSetTrackingAreaEnabled : Invalid tracking area

Spinning beach ball is happening in many applications plus time to launch any application is slow. Planning to copy Mountain Lion boot partition, overwrite hard drive with zeros, do a clean install of OS X 10.8.2, and use migration assistant to copy stuff from current boot partition. Suspect unexpected power outage corrupted some stuff.
