I've just loaded logos4 and I'm trying to find the tutorials. Anyone know how to access/run them?

There is a great set of video tutorials here: Logos 4 Unofficial Tutorials (In the menubar click on Tutorials to see the various tutorial videos)
The official videos by Logos are here: Logos4 Videos (these are a little old and screens may have changed since they were made)
User's have generated a lot of info in the Wiki. See this wiki page to get started. Also here is the Table of Contents.

so, the tutorials are not actually on the software loaded on my machine--I need to go to their website? It's advertised that with Logos4 the tutorial (that you'd normally have to buy separately) is included.

No, they are not built into the software on your machine. "Included" means they're free and easily accessible from within the program, though that doesn't mean the videos are actually hosted on your computer and viewable from within your software. They are hosted on the Logos website.
But you can click on the Help menu (the question mark in the upper right of the Logos program) and choose "View online tutorials" and it will take you to the tutorial videos that Logos provides on their site. You can get to the others ones from Help > View online user-edited wiki and then look under Videos.
