I humbly submit a request for some very needed enhancements to Personal Books! Others can add in, but to me just a minimum functionality need would dictate the following features being added:
1. A way to "Build All" Personal books
2. A way to see what Personal books have not been compiled on a given installation (it knows about them, they are in the Personal Books list, but the resource does not exist). This problem is made worse because the meta data for the resource is not correct; for example, if I create a new PB on computer A, build it, it will show as "Last built today" on computer B even though it has never been built before.
3. A way to Sync Personal book builds, so I only have to build a personal book once and any other installations get it through sync
4. Better ways to organize PBs. If I have to use a unique resource list for building Personal Books, I need to be able to sort and group by all the metadata. Alternative would be to somehow build the personal books through the Library panel.
5. Better clues as to where warnings and errors are coming from. Could the errant part of the compiled resource be highlighted for example, or could there be a "hot" list of errors and warnings that I could click and it takes me to the error in the compiled resource?
6. Better file names - with the long alphanumeric file names, it is very difficult to resolve problems (like which resource is not compiled) by looking at these names. This is much less of an issue if syncing and compiling fully support multiple computers as suggested above.
