Scholar's Library, upgrade

How do I know, that my software upgraded? I have been looking for the new books and can't find some. The DVD's I received are labeled Logos Bible Software 4 Installation, it does not say anything about Scholar's Library and when I installed it, it did not ask for the serial number. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me? The whole thing is really neat.

All the serial number and book-tracking info is not online and is synchronized with your installation over the Internet. A few of the new books are not yet completed: a couple of interlinears are still missing. Otherwise L4 should know what you are to have and either install it from the DVD or download it from Logos for you.

Two posabilities. First, type Update Resources in the command box at the top of the L4 window. Give a considerable amount of time 10-15 minutes and see it it begins updating things. If that doesn't seem to work click on the home tab at the top and take note of the email address you are logged into L4 with. Then go to L4 and log in with that account. Check your purchase history and make sure the Scholar's Library is listed there. Some people have had problems because they purchased under one account but logged into L4 through a different account. If this is the case and you need to merge the resources from both accounts you will have to give Logos a call. If you just want to log in as a different user try closing down L4, disconnecting yourself from the internet, starting up L4 and the sign in box will appear, reconnect to the internet, put your new login information in and then click sign in. Then try the update resources again.
