System running slow

I just purchased a new tosiba 8GB with i7 intel processor. After downoading Logos, my system seems to be runnning slow. When I look into the controll panel I see the following:

  • Logos 4 Prerequisites 37.2 MB
  • Logos Bible Software 10 GB

Was there some kind of error with this down load. Why is my new computer running slow?

    It's likely that it is indexing. If you see an item with the Logos blue logo in the Notification Area (in Windows taskbar) it should tell you what is happening when you hover. You will also see a warning when you switch to Basic Search or Bible Search. Let indexing complete as it uses a lot of processor power.
