So whats the deal with the O For a Thousand Tongues music sheet in the Logos Hymnal Media Resource?
Very interesting!
What I'd also like to know is why a second listing of songs begins half-way through the index. Hard to find what you want this way. I have noticed this on at least one other Logos-built resource.
Thy Kingdom Come, O Lord also has a problem, only displaying the first line of music.

Actually, if you look on the image you posted, a third section also appears (follows "The First Noel" begins with "Anywhere with Jesus") then a fourth section (follows "Eternal Father Strong to Save" and begins "A charge to keep I have."
I could only guess, but it seems that Logos was compiling songs from several sources, eliminated overlap, but didn't re-order the list after finishing their editing.
EDIT: actually, after looking at the media itself, my theory doesn't hold up. Why there are 4 alphabetical lists in this hymnal is beyond me. But obviously, after the 4 lists were assembled, the order was not re-alphabetized.
Me thinks this must have been a long night at the computer for a programmer, or else a very low priority task.
I suppose we could start a new game to find the most bizarre error in Logos resources. So far my vote goes to Phil. Not likely to find a scanned note in too many places. What's next? A grocery list? Inquiring minds want to know.
I would never look through the list for a song anyway. I would also hit CTRL + F so the order in the TOC doesn't effect me. It is somewhat curious. I hope they continue to add more hymns to this database.
