Hi Kevin,

I thought it was a balanced review, perhaps focused just a tad more toward new users. Through the beta & release, one comment I've heard over all the others wrt L4 vs. L3 was the requirement to change the way we think when trying to accomplish the same work.

Your article seemed like a fairly balanced review of L4 although I think Bill makes a good point about L4 users being open to a new paradigm and not being too quick to judge L4 by the old L3 ways. All of the Beta testers seemed to have fallen prey to that, as well as the "This isn't the way I think it should work" fallacy. Seems like for almost all of us, once we got past those sorts of kneejerk, initial reactions, we found that the L4 team had been quite clever and had actually thought things through very well. They were miles ahead of us and were patiently waiting for us to catch up.

Are you planning to do a follow-up review article next year after most of the currently missing bells and whistles have been added?

I will probably do a follow up after they finish putting back all the missing features and of course get it "finished".
