Seeing the post re: shootout made me realize that there is at least one thing that could be on the front page that could be very helpful ... a "Dear Abby" or "Dear Ann Landers" column or the puzzle feature in Scientific America. It would consist of one of two types of entries:
- a user's request for a solution to a complex problem - outisde what one would expect help to provide or
- a challenge for which the most efficient solution by a user wins them a prize - an everlasting place in the hearts of Logos geeks.
