Does anyone know how to do a synomym search in logos?  If not this is a feature that would be nice to have in Logos seach.

One of many word-net features that could be very useful - whole-part; subsclass-superclass are among my wishes

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

For me, if I am looking at Greek, I just use BDAG, ANLEX, and LN to get a good meaning of the word. If I look at a word in English, I can right click, go to selected text (in English) and another menu will pop out. From that menu I can select Merriam Websters dictionary or Merriam Websters Thesaurus or biblical dictionaries (such as Smith, Easton, Harper) or biblical names that I have promoted in keylink menu for English.

In Greek you can use LN domains e.g. find your word in the Louw-Nida lexicon (Basic Search) and use the domain it belongs to.

ἀφίημι (forgive/forgiveness) belongs to 40.8 in sub-domain B (40.8-40.13). You can search for the synonyms in Bible Search with  LN in "40.8-13". LGNTI is the best Greek text for LN.

If you have the complete New testament Dictionary (Zodiates) not only does it  give you Greek synonyms, but also Greek antonym's !
