Crash when attempting to put CBV in Shortcuts area

I have two computers, one is running SR-7 and one is running 4.0a b1. The system running the b1 shows no shortcuts in the shortcut area, while the SR-7 machine has several.

When I attempted to put the CBV on the shortcut bar L4 crashed. This happens repeatedly.

I  will put up a log file if requested.

    Further report:

When opening L4 SR-7 on my main system this morning two more instances of the CBV appear on the shortcuts bar.

Perhaps the problem has to do with syncing two mismatched versions of L4. (?)

A log file would be great!

    [sigh]

When I restarted my and fired up L40ab1 and it crashed, but I could see before the crash that the shortcuts from my SR7 install, where present on the short-cut bar. So I restarted with CTRL and went to a blank screen. All my SR7 shortcuts were there. I tried to put another shortcut on the bar and no problem.

My SR7 computer was online at the time I turned on my 40ab1 computer.

Something fixed itself overnight, I guess, or else the two just needed to have a little chat.

Whatever, I can no longer duplicate the error and didn't save a log file at the time. So good for me, sorry for you.
