To answer your question, the mobile app depends upon the desktop app for the creation or modification of highlighting styles… there isn't (at least currently) a way to modify them from within the mobile app. I have not heard Logos speak on this topic, but I would not expect this feature to be added soon (but I have been known to be wrong before [:)]).
