Dictionary Suggestions
I was wondering if anyone has found a good way to define words in Greek or Latin dictionaries instead of doing searches? Usually when I search it doesn't bring up the definition so you have click the word and do a search and then click back.
What I think would be cool is highlighting a word and then getting a basic definition lexical forms in a popup instead of a search whether it be in English Greek or Hebrew or Latin.

When you hold down on a word in a Bible (ESV, NIV, NRSV, NASB, NLT, KJV) you can see a pop-up with a lexical form and a basic definition. From there you can do a Bible Word Study. This only works with Hebrew and Greek.

Sorry was thinking more from a book and not an interlinear. For instance I am reading Piepers Christian Dogmatics and there are many Greek and Latin words not defined.

If its tied to a Bible verse you could have a Bible open in split screen and access it that way.

can I do the split screen and have a Latin dictionary up and search? I don't see a search box in the split screen and clicking search does not search on the split screen but launches the bar on the left.

I suspect your suggestion may require more tagging than is practical, but I do like your suggestion. Another alternative is to have an analytical lexicon open on the side. Double tap or press and hold the word in question and select copy. Then go to search and select your lexicon from the list and double tap the search box and paste the manuscript form. The search then should take you to the manuscript form in the lexicon and give you a link to the lemma and its definition. I have only tried this in Greek and it seemed to work okay. (Or have a collection of analytical lexicons, select the collection in search.)"For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power"

On my desktop L4 I use the right click on any of the Latin words there, and a Latin Forms dictionary comes up. (the free one that Logos recently made available to us ... get it if you don't have it ... https://www.logos.com/product/15716/dictionary-of-latin-forms )
On my iPad2 I have used translate.google.com for a general idea of the phrase meaning.
Sometimes I make a note and check it later. I have e-mailed myself!

Thanks all for the comments. I created a collection in logos on the desktop and then do a copy and paste, choose my collection on the ipad for it transfers to it and this works well. I created a Greek lexicon collection and a Latin one.
