I have a friend who has recently gone blind. Does anyone know of a link where I can download the NKJV in mp3 onto his mp3 player for him?

I don't know of any free ones, but I have found it as cheap as $13 by doing a google search for nkjv mp3.

You might also try your local libraries. Sometimes they have books on CD/Tape as well as some digital audio books that can be checked out.

I was listening to one version on my MP3 player that I had checked out for long drives.

Youversion has a free audio version for NIV. Can't get it for NKJV yet

I use The Word of Promise Audio Bible on my MP3 player, which I got on Audible.com.

If you sign him up for a free trial of Audible through Amazon you can get two download credits for free that should be enough to get an audio Bible. If he decides he doesn't want to keep the membership the books he gets under the trial are his to keep. They should be available on his MP3.
