In Revelation 2-3, some Bible versions (e.g. ESV) have one speaker label per chapter, whilst other Bible versions (e.g. NKJV) have speaker labels per letter.
I'm not quite sure what you're seeing. Here's what i have for ESV in beta 4: do you have something different?
This was the same bug reported here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/56839/407865.aspx#407865 (It looked different because NKJV has article breaks at pericopes, while ESV has them at chapters.)
It's fixed in Beta 4.
NKJV has article breaks at pericopes, while ESV has them at chapters.
That's something I never knew. We sometimes advise people to do a basic search when they want to find two words in the same chapter, rather than the same verse. Presumably that's not going to work for NKJV. Are there other Bible versions with article breaks not at chapter divisions?

Yes, although I don't know what they all are. Some are NIV1984 (but not NIV2011), NRSV, NASB (but not NASB95). You can test by opening a Bible and navigating by article (on the Locator bar).
Bibles were produced according to different standards in the past. This is something we can't correct during a resource update, because it may cause customers' notes & highlights to shift around in the text or disappear. So we're currently locked into how these resources were first produced 15–20 years ago.
I'm delighted to hear this and hope that it is true of all Bibles with defined pericopes. Otherwise, the inconsistency will drive me (and probably some others) nuts. Especially as Mark points out when we are trying to walk new users through a search.
Bradley responded while I was typing. [:(] but I understand the problem and the decision,
