L4Mac Beta 5 - Indexer Crashes

Last night, the indexer log showed that there was a problem with an index file although checking the disk showed nothing.

So I decided to rebuild the indices completely.

I started at about 01:00 local, and went to bed. this morning the logs (attached) show a crash after 7 hours [:(]

I loaded L4Mac and this triggered the Indexer ... which started to index again, starting again from scratch with the first resources ... none of the previous 7 hours of indexing had actually been saved (as far as I can tell).

I do not mind the occasional crash but am I correct in thinking that it started again from scratch ... will it always do this? ... every crash means start the index again from the beginning ... how long will indexing take?

I have attached a second log created when I restarted Logos again at about 9 this morning: 0523.Logging restarts at zero.zip

In this second log, there is one line that suggests that starting again from scratch has occured:

Does this mean that during the entire 7 hours of indexing, nothing was committed to the drive in a state that would result in a continuation of indexing from the point of error?

If Logos 4 indexing is interrupted, the indexer starts over for an index in progress.  When rebuild index command is used, the Logos 4 Indexer deletes then creates 3 indexes: Bible, Library, and Personal Books.  After 7 hours, suspect Bible index completed merging of index files, Library indexing was in progress so the indexer started over for Library indexing, which can take many hours, perhaps day(s).

Idea would be opening Logos 4 Mac, then open resource   LLS:AFRICABBLCOM  to look at support information, then move resource file(s) so indexing for the rest of the Library can be done.   If move resource file(s), the indexer will have an error about file(s) missing, but keeps going.  After indexing completes, one option is hiding resource, restart Logos 4 Mac, unhide resource, and restart Logos 4 Mac to cause resource to be downloaded and indexed.

I have attached a second log created when I restarted Logos again at about 9 this morning:

The second log shows 488 resources had been indexed, does not have a crash.
