I would expect that a Search on the collection would at least come close to matching the Collections section in the Topic Guide. The Topic Guide's Collection results are minimalistic, to say the least.
A Collections "search" on All Resources showed results in three resources which duplicated the results I already had in the Definition section (which was restricted to a collection of Encyclopedias).
When both sections use the same collection of Bible Concordances, Definition shows 6 results with zero in Collections. So I'm not sure what is happening or whether the Collections section is relevant. (why would I want it to perform a Basic Search on the topic word?).
What I was trying to do was create two sections:
It seems as though that should have given me a fairly clean division. The behavior is very odd.
whether the Collections section is relevant.
The Collections Section is an add-in on the customized TG to compensate for the mish-mash that is the current default Definitions. I not only make definitions contain definitions and collections contain passage lists, I also get rid of the irrelevant jokes and stories. Should be a win-win-win situation.

It certainly gets rid of the mishmash, but I have no control over the non-mishmash that it displays! At best it gives the same 3 resources I already have in my refined collection** for Definition so it is completely redundant.
** (type:encyclopedia AND rating:>2) OR (type:concordance AND rating:>3) --> and I can change the rating numbers to refine it further.
I put the dictionaries/encyclopedias in the definitions section and the monographs/concordances in the collections section. But the collections section doesn't appear to be working correctly.
