Suggestion pertaining to the Locator Bar: When you do a search and click on a result a new window opens up containing the text of that resource. I think it would be good if that window's locator bar would have as a default the option - (next or last) search result - instead of something else (ie- article or page)

If there are several search results in the same resource, the locator bar already has that option:

If, on the other hand, you want the ability to go to the next resource with search results in it, without first having to go back to the search panel, I'm not sure the locator bar would be the right place for it, but it might be nice if we could have sort of a 'temporary parallel resourses' collection with all the resources in which search results were found.
