What / Who is Feedburner? Is it spam?

I have just had an email, from Logos apparently, suggesting that I sign up to a faithlife blog ... OK ... that sounds interesting ... I might even work out what Faithlife is for ... so I follow the link ...  and end up at a site called 'Feed Burner, not logos.

Who is FeedBurner? Are they another Logos brand? Why am I redirected to their site rather than simply being added to a mailing list, or being re-directed to my subscriptions page in my logos account? Is the email genuinely from Logos?

Feedburner is an RSS service that Logos uses to syndicate their feeds. If you were to go to the Blog and click on the orange RSS logo it would redirect you to the Feedburner feed for the Logos blog. So, not spam.
