Notes crashes

In my iPad when I open a note it crashes. I am running iOS version 5.1.1 [9B206], L4 mobile version 3.0.3 [1585]. I am able to open Bibles & commentaries without problems.

I tried to uninstall the L4 app and then re-installed it, but I still have the problem with notes.

Tes – is it any note file, or just a particular one? Can you create a new note file? If so, does the new one crash?

It is crashing on a specific note file. That note file is pretty large (it shows 27 pages in the Print/Export window on the desktop). It crashes when i try to scroll the note. I can open other note files and scroll in them without L4 crashing in the iPad.

A message appears before the crash:
Some books that had been downloaded cannot be found on this device.
Would you like to download these books again?

So I tried to download it, but it doesn't work.

Tes – What kind of data is in the note file? Is it just highlights, or are there other things in the note file? Is it from one or more resources? 27 pages is actually not a large note file. I have one which is 210 pages (its highlights from a years worth of devotional reading through the bible).
