Hey Brothers and Sisters
I received this prayer a few years ago, and decided to share it with you that you might benefit. God Bless You and God Bless Logos. In Jesus name.
Father, Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry. Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and hold me with thy free spirit. Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. Let my prayer be set before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Incline not my ear to any evil thing, to practice evil works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testamonies. Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgements. Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes. Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgements help me. Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgements. Let Israel now say, that His mercy endureth forever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that His mercy endureth forever. Let them now that fear the Lord say, that His mercy endureth forever. Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and forever. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name. Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die. Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Show us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful and all that is therein: then shall all of the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord. Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hands. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. Give the king thy judgements, O God, and thy righteousness unto the kings son. Save those that are burning, from the fire of the evil one that rages against them on earth. Give the barren seed, Lord. Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for His name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heaven. And now, O Lord God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it forever, and do as thou hast said. Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer. Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only. But let all those who put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me. God bemerciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon the earth.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. And Father I pray for The Church: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. In Jesus name, Amen.
