Logos 4.6a has a known startup crash issue; the Logos4Error.log has NSCFDictionary in error message with nil value while the Apple Crash Report includes " Assertion failed: (exception == nil), function -[OurAppController"

Should be able to install current stable Logos 4 Mac application by manually downloading and replacing application. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Update_Error

Logos 4.6a SR-1 (4.61.0.3356) for Mac can be downloaded from => http://www.logos.com/logos4mac (current stable release)

What "steps given on the forum" are you talking about?

The first thing you can try is to open to a blank layout. Press and hold the command key immediately after starting Logos and check the appropriate box on the log in screen that appears. If the issue is related to a corrupt layout or resource, this will allow you to get up and running, bypassing the problem. If that doesn't work, you will need to enable logging and submit logs (please attach them, don't "paste" them into the thread.)

Please let us know if this works. If not, it would be helpful if you could create a new thread since your issue may be unrelated to someone else's.

If would attach a zip file with Logos diagnostic log files, probably would have advice. Without log files, humanly have no idea what is crashing; have seen a number of Logos 4 Mac crashes on startup with a variety of causes. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac
