buying a new tablet??
I want to buy a tablet for my wife for Christmas. With the new Microsoft tablet and all the others, I don't know which way to turn. I run Logos 4 on my PC and my laptop. What will Logos 4 look like on an iPad or MS tablet? Primarily, my wife will use it for her Bible study, reading commentaries and her Bible. I have a ton of stuff on my PC that she won't read, I'm sure.
What is the difference and where can I find more information to help make the decision?
I have an Android phone and don't care for Logos on it and wouldn't buy anything for that usage.

If it were me I would get her an iPad. If money were an issue I would look into getting a reconditioned one. I would start her on the Vyrso app and when she was ready move her to the Bible app. The iPad app is the highest developed one and the iPad is very versatile and proven durable.

What will Logos 4 look like on an iPad or MS tablet?
To clarify: "Logos 4" doesn't run on either. Logos does have a mobile app for iOS & Android, and looks to create one for WIndows 8 RT. None of those are the full desktop app. The iOS app is the most developed app among the bunch. The current windows version is really just a biblia.com reader (no offline capabilities at all currently).
I second the idea of a reconditioned one. Right now you can get a third gen iPad for under $400. I am trying to convince my wife that I need one. Prayers are appreciated. [:D]

Is Logos' video on the most recent version of the iOS app… This might help you decide if you like it;s implementation of Logos, also as pointed out the current Windows RT app has basically no more functionality than biblia.com so one will have to be patient first till they catch up to android and until both catch up to iOS. If price is a factor the new iPad mini might be a good option. I wish you all the best deciding on which tablet will make the best gift for your wife. I am sure which ever you choose she will love it because it is from you.
