Is there a way to do this in the iPad app?
I'm trying to copy a verse(s) from the iPad app into a note document but having the subscripts come over makes doing this pointless. Has anyone figured it out?
Josh – I don't have my iPad with me right now… Have you tried "sharing" the text via email, then copy & pasting? Does that eliminate the subscripts, etc.?
What translation are you using? Let me know and I will experiment more later.
Sorry Alabama, I didn't see this response. Thanks for the input!
I haven't tried what you mention, and when I get back to my iPad I'll give it a shot. I'd prefer to not do it though, it adds another step that seems unnecessary.
I'm using the ESV.
Hi Alabama and John.
I have just tried copying into email and the superscripts come across.
I do agree with John that this makes trying to copy verses from texts with superscripts is unworkable particularly as the "superscript ness" is lost and the superscript symbols are merged with the standard text.
John, sorry but I don't know any way of doing this.
