A Plea to bring back the "Key-Link" Feature

One of the great features of Logos 3 was the "key-link." I could click on a Greek word and instantly 13-14 of my lexicons would open in tab-formation and I could just go from lexicon to lexicon. It was quick and easy. I plea, yea, BEG that Logos 4 add this feature. The "prioritize resources" feature, to me, just doesn't quite cut it.. Anyone agree?

In L4, just click the +tab next to the one lexicon that does come up. You'll then see a list of other lexicons that define that word (ignore the covers, use the list on the right). Alternatively, create a Custom Word Study Guide that only includes the "lemma" section. You'll probably find this works much better than having 14 uncontrollable windows all over your desktop.

I don't. But I'm not sure what you mean by opening 12-14 lexicons with a click. I didn't work that way in L3. In L3 I created a collection of favorite lexicons and one would open, then I'd circle through them with the arrow keys. I'm glad it didn't open all of them at once, since I cant' read all of them at once anyway. Logos4 works the same way that I worked before, except that instead of building a collection to do what I did before, I prioritize my top few lexicons (which took much less time than building an L3 collection). Double-clicking on a Greek or Hebrew word opens my primary lexicon. They I cycle through with the arrow keys more or less as I did in L3.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still learning Logos 4. Guess i just got so 'settled-in' with Logos 3.

In v3, you could set the number of keylinked resources of each datatype which would be open when single or double clicking on a word. While for most datatypes, I only had it set to open 1 resource, for lexicons, I had it set to open 4. I also miss this feature.

There was no need to build a collection for this in v3 - this was all set through keylinking which was always accessible through the right click context menu.

I have to say that I am learning so much about my v3 that I didn't know just from reading the v4 forums. . . I guess I just did everything the hard way.
