New display is set to yes.
What version of Windows are you running?
We've seen this happen a handful of times, and it's been resolved in the past by updating video drivers. If an update for the drivers for your video card is available, try upgrading the drivers to see if that fixes the problem.
Windows 7 Home. Will investigate.
Video driver is ok.
Bradley, any other suggestions? The driver is up to date.
Noticed that actual size and fit are grayed out.
Anyone else having this problem.
I just checked out some videos on my L5 install and they seem to be working just fine. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling your video drivers?
Downloading drivers now.
Reinstalled driver, no difference. Bradley, Is it possible for one of the developers to perform a remote control to try and resolve this? This will be my demo machine when L5 goes live.
A non-functioning video will be a show stopper.
Using a Toshiba Sattelite L755,-S5168
Win 7 Home 64 Bit 4G Ram
Videos work well in full screen mode.
Any chance this can be fixed before Wednesday? This will be my demo machine. All other videos work well.
Have you run Logos 4 on this same machine? If so, does it have this problem?
Unfortunately, we're just using built-in OS components (Media Foundation) to play video, so we don't have a lot of control over how the video is actually displayed. As I said before, this has been reported maybe twice before, and in both cases updating the video card drivers has fixed it. This means it's not likely to be something we can fix before Wednesday.
It's possible we could find a workaround (if we could find a computer that has this problem), but it's also very likely that that workaround would be specific to the video chipset and drivers we tested it with.
Sorry for the discouraging news.
