How long after purchase does your new title appear?

My first base package that I bought for Logos 4 took 32 hours before it started to automatically download - potentially with some intervention by Logos support staff. Today I purchased another title. It's been about 30 minutes and no sign of it appearing and starting its download. Everything is working okay with my system since there was an upgrade of some books that were already on my system at the same time I purchased the new item. However, the new purchase still has not appeared.

So, in your experience, how long does it take before a newly purchased title appears and starts to download? I am wondering if there is something wrong with my account or perhaps it is just the weekend?

Can anyone help?

My experience (not with a base package) but when I purchase a couple of titles they appear immediately. I've ordered books on www.logos.com (on my iPad) and have available on my Logos iPad app right away. I think when its a large base package it can take awhile (and then indexing for the first time takes a long period of time).

Thanks everyone. From the wiki article it appears that patience is the name of the game. I have come over from OliveTree and everything was immediate. I am not complaining, but I just need to adjust.

Normally, I can download as soon as I get the e-mail. The only exception I can think of would be if something extremely popular was released, which overloaded their servers a bit. But that's definitely not the case on a weekend. Or if the servers are down, of course, but then you'd see a yellow triangle over the sync arrows. And your own internet connection obviously works, or you couldn't have posted.

Try the Update now and Update resources commands. The latter takes considerably longer time, but does a more thorough check.

Varies a bit. Since Thanksgiving 2011, have "purchased" 256 free Vyrso eBooks. Several times noticed Logos downloading within minutes of completing purchase. Other times took longer; have used commands to update on occasion, including set update channel to ... (stable, default, or beta). Before using beta, suggest reading wiki page => http://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_4_Beta_Program

Currently Logos does not have a public beta. Logos 4.6a SR-1 was released to the stable channel on Fri 26 Oct. Looking at past beta release history, could be a month (or more) before Logos has a new public beta release.
