Bug or annoyance: Daily Bible Reading Plan

I use the Daily Bible Reading Plan in the Logos Bible! app frequently. And a bug (or annoyance; not sure if it is deliberate design or a bug), but every day I have to go to my reading plan and tap that for it to show the "Start Reading| Today" and the "Stop Reading| Today" displays. If I don't and just read the reading for that day, I have to go the "Reading Plan Document" and tap that days reading so I can tap "Read". It is very annoying and I'd like those displays to ALWAYS show when I have a reading plan set up (of course till I click finish, then it moves to the next days reading). But, of course, the next day the "Start Reading" and "Stop Reading" is gone. I hate that. Could this be fixed, please.
