Logos on my Mac crashed while updating and now wont open.

My Logos was doing an update yesterday (or the day before?) when it suddenly quit. When I went to re-open I got an error message saying Logos "quit unexpectedly". Every time I try to open now it this error message happens.

I have tried shutting down and restarting my computer.

Because I can't open the program I can't see what version I have, but the PC version on my Dell laptop (which is still working fine) is 4.6a SR-1. When I look up the Logos Application in the applications folder on my iMac I find a program which says it is Version 4.61.3347.

My iMac operates on Mac OS X 10.6.8

Any advice/help greatly appreciated!!

Logos 4.6a (4.61.0.3347) has a known startup crash issue; the Logos4Error.log has NSCFDictionary in error message with nil value while the Apple Crash Report includes " Assertion failed: (exception == nil), function -[OurAppController"

Should be able to install current stable Logos 4 Mac application by manually downloading and replacing application. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Update_Error
