Navarre Commentary Series

The Navarre Commentary Series is currently under development and available for pre-order. I have read that the general development period is 6 to 9 months. Is anyone aware of where we are in the process for these particular volumes? (i.e. how long before they become available).

Logos doesn't generally provide release dates or time tables until the resources are nearly ready to ship.

Not sure where you read that. The truth is that it varies a lot. In the spring most things seemed to get live in about 3-4 months, but the summer vacations destroyed that record, and right now it seems considerably longer, especially for Catholic works. Part of the reason for that is probably a) that most of the Catholic publisher relations are new, and b) that many of the Catholic works they now release require new datatypes. Then there are the unforeseen things. There are resources on that prepub list that have been there since 2007, perhaps even longer...

Like Alabama said, they virtually never let us know until there's a ship date, and even then it's tentative. They frequently postpone things, even on the same day.

(Datatypes are the invisible tags that makes it possible to click on a link to the Catechism and end up in either the English or the Latin version, depending on which one you've chosen to prioritize, rather than ending up in the one someone else has chosen for you.)

The 6 to 9 months was on a Blog Post from Logos. But to be fair, it did say "generally". Anyway the Navarre would be a great resource. I have the set in book form, but obviously electronic would be better. Having said all of that Logos provides so much more Catholic materials than their competitors (OliveTree or Laridian).
