I have been working on notes that pertain to certain bible topics and I would like to put them into a group or several groups. Is this possible?
Bonjour, Richard! Bonjour! *smile* Welcome to the Logos Forums. This a group of those who try to help one another sort through the complexities of an excellent Bible Software.
You will be finding a number of people responding to your post. I think I need to understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish with your setup. So perhaps you will expand slightly ......
In My Logos notes, I try to keep related notes in the same group. That's the way my mind seems to work.
Also, I think you might be aware that one can search one's own content. Great, eh?
Welcome to the forum Richard. Faithlife should do this when it is finished. Presently, you can upload a word document or a pdf file. www.faithlife.com and faithlife.com/whatsnext
Also, Richard, in case you haven't come across our Wiki yet, let me point you to the section on notes....

Hi Lynden! *smile* I think Richard is referring to the "grouping" of notes....
perhaps NOT a group in FaithLife.com??? Richard, please chip in here! *smile*
Will always be grateful Lynden that I could "park" for a while in your FaithLife.com group!
i have made several individual note files on bible topics with verses hyper-linked in each of the note files. But I was wondering if I can group those note files under one heading in the file tab where I see them listed. Thanks for your quick reply [:)]
A simple yes! That's your choice! Makes sense also! *smile*
It sounds like you're coming right along, including hyperlinking! Stay with it!
Is there a description in the wiki to explain how it is done?
Richard, this may be of some help. http://wiki.logos.com/Notes_$28ver_4.5_$26_up$29
Peace, Richard! Here is the wiki url ....... http://wiki.logos.com/
I can't do any more tonight since my wife is calling me! Perhaps some other will respond to you???? Very likely! *smile*
Best wishes!
Another link that may be of assistance are these videos. http://www.logos.com/videos/pc Scroll down to the section that says Notes and Reading lists.
Thanks very much to both of you!! I will look into these. [:D]
You might try using favorites. You can create a folder and put links to note files there.
I assume that you have already gathered your notes together into files and that you are asking about collecting the note files into groups? For this most users use Favorites. http://wiki.logos.com/Favorites will show you how that works.
An alternative to Favorites is to simply prefix all those note file names with a group name. Then all you need to do is to type that name into the box under Files, and only that group's files will show up.
I use that technique to separate different kinds of files: PL: for Passage Lists, FN: for [foot] Note files, HL: for Highlighting files, VF: for Visual Filters, and so on.
