Is there a way to create a collection or grouping of commentaries that are from different series for different books of the bible that would stay open and able to follow along with the bible rather than just having them come up in the passage guide?
Welcome to the forums Brandon. This video should help. http://www.logos.com/training/logos4/windows/collections Also check out the wiki.logos.com http://wiki.logos.com/Collections
You may also create a layout, and open it whenever you wish. http://www.logos.com/training/logos4/windows/layouts
You could make a collection of preferred commentaries for each book of the bible then select from the collection for whatever book you are studying. I'm not sure whether this answers your question. Personally, I open commentaries when studying a passage only after I have read the original Hebrew/Greek and have studied the structure of the passage.
I think Resource Associations would take care of that. You can vote for it at Resource Associations.
Hi Brandon! Glad you've come the the Logos Forums. Keep on coming until you get all the "understandings" you need! *smile*
The answer to your original question is Yes! *smile* It requires "linking" ... For example, if you have the ESV open, link it to "A" Right now I'm in Philippians and using Gordon Fee, NICNT as a commentary. That also I have "linked" to "A"! As I move through my ESV, Fee's commentary follows me. *smile*
More information on Linking here: http://wiki.logos.com/Linking_Resources it's so easy!
Please come back and ask again if your needs are not met! *smile* Peace!
