If this has been posted before do forgive me. However, there are great deals posted here daily that people may be missing out on today's is a particularly good one, Healing for Damaged Emotions by David A. Seamands. https://twitter.com/FreeVyrsoBooks and can be found on Vyrso here: http://vyrso.com/product/25097/healing-for-damaged-emotions?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
FYI... this book is listed for free in the Vyrso store. This twitter feed is not an official Vyrso feed.
I've found the most reliable way to search Vyrso for new free books is to enter the follow search in the search panel (less the " marks):
"price:[0 TO 0]"
For some reason, when you opt to search the normal website by sorting by price, it sometimes misses out on the time limited special freebies. I've therefore bookmarked the following link and check it more or less daily. The latest freebies normally end up near the bottom of the second page.

Hey Thanks B! I noticed the new free Vyrso books kept changing almost every day, but couldn't figure out if they were being promoted or not.
I prefer http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=&sort=pricelo&pageSize=15and I don't think I've ever missed out on a freebie. You won't have to scroll through to the second page with this.

I've never done that. I just go to www.vyrso.com/deals and look for "Freebies". Am I missing some?
I think so Dan. To use an example, when I clicked on Tom Reynolds' link, and scroll through all the free resources, the book "Healing for Damaged Emotions" doesn't appear for me. However, when I use my above link and scroll to the bottom of the second page, it's there. I don't know why there's a discrepancy between sorting by price to put all the freebies on top, and just searching for free resources, but there is...

Tom, I still think the link you posted misses out some of the free resources.
When I click on this link, I can't see Healing for Damaged Emotions by David A. Seamands before the low priced items kick in near the bottom of the page. (I use this as an example because it's one of the newer free resources.)
http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=0&sort=pricelo&pageSize=30
Your link displays about 19 free resources on Vyrso.
However, when I click on this link (which has searched the Vyrso site for $0.00 priced resources, rather than sorting by price), you'll see the above mentioned resource at the bottom of the page for free:
http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price%3A%5B0+TO+0%5D&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=30
This link displays 30 free resources on Vyrso.
It seems to me that when you sort the Vyrso resources by price (low > high) to put the freebies first, it misses out some on resources that appear when use search for free resources only. [:(]
Paul,
Tom didn't mention, but his link filters out those books one already owns (the unlocked=no parameter in the URL). Thus it is okay if you don't see the book in question in the results, if you already bought it. When you take out the parameter, you should see the book in the list (together with other freebies, buy-button greyed out).
I use the exact same link and made it a habit to look more or less daily. I've never experienced that the functionality was buggy - it's rather that some freebies are free only for some hours.
Mick
Thanks Mick - that would explain it!

Thanks Mick for explaining what I left off in my post.

Thanks, that makes sense now!
I use Google Chrome and made http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=0&sort=pricelo&pageSize=30 one of my startup pages to make sure it gets checked every day.
I use Google Chrome and set one of the startup pages to http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=0&sort=pricelo&pageSize=30 so I don't miss checking everyday.
The Free Vyrso Books Twitter feed is an unofficial bot I created that checks http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price%3A%5B0+TO+0%5D&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60 every hour, and tweets if anything is new. So everything it tweets you should be able to find on the site by searching for price:[0 TO 0], but as others have pointed out, not all free items can be found via vyrso.com/deals
Great tip! Using this syntax, is there any way to add a filter for those that are NOT yet unlocked (i.e., show ONLY those you don't already have)?
(I played with it & couldn't break the code.) Since the web site understands such a query, I'm hoping this input box does as well.(Here's the query I've had good results with: http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&unlocked=no&start=&sort=pricelo&pageSize=60 )

http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price:[0+TO+0]&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60&unlocked=no
When I tried it I got the following message:
Please try browsing our products on the left.
During my first year of seminary (1976) I was a janitor in Dr. David Seamands church in Wilmore, KY. He was probably the best preacher / teacher that I ever heard. Amazing man.
This free book is definately worth the read. Don't miss it.
http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price:[0+TO+0]&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60&unlocked=no When I tried it I got the following message: We couldn't find price:[0 TO 0]. Please try browsing our products on the left.
Strange. It works here. Signed in to Vyrso I get 21 results. Signed out, I get 22. Tried in multiple browsers. Did you click on the url as above or did you copy and paste the entire url?
I copied and pasted it. I don't really understand how these searches work so every time someone suggested a new one I tried it to see if I might be missing some books. So I don't know why this one isn't working for me, but if it works for you it must be something I'm doing wrong. The other urls posted here worked for me, so I'll just stick with one of those. Thanks.
What that link did was to list all books that had a min. price of $0.00 and a max. price of $0.00 (aka free books) that you do not have (&unlocked=no). Because it said it could not find any books, it is stating that you have already have all the books in your library that are currently free.
For me, the best thing that worked is an unofficial mailing list created by HeiDoc.net. You get pretty instantly an e-mail if there is a free book with a link to the book. You can signup here:
http://www.heidoc.net/mailman/listinfo/vyrso_heidoc.net
So far, this service has been very reliable.

However, when I click on this link (which has searched the Vyrso site for $0.00 priced resources, rather than sorting by price), you'll see the above mentioned resource at the bottom of the page for free: http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price%3A%5B0+TO+0%5D&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=30 This link displays 30 free resources on Vyrso.
For me, clicking on that link provides the same results as www.vyrso.com/deals (and clicking the "freebies" link on that page). Currently, it is 22. Seamands, incidentally, which I got via the "deals" method, is now 2.86 or something. Also, when I click on "freebies" I see an automatically inserted query that is displayed:
price:[0 TO 0]
I guess whatever works! Some of the other links merely show me the books that start around 99 cents.
Stick to what works for you Dan. I think I over-complicated this thread!!!
[:)]
stretchin' my brain, and that's a good thing!
Does anyone know how to limit the Vyrso Search? I have been using "price:[0 TO .5]" to find free book but I would like to exclude fiction books. How can i search for free books but exclude fiction?
price:[0 TO .50] -GenreGroup:Fiction
