I've just noticed on my Logos Desktop an offer for Lexham Bibe Guides Paul's Letters Collection (13 vols) which states that the Ephesians Volume will be downloaded immediately and others as they are released. Which is fair enough! But my question relates to those of us who have already brought the Ephesians Volume, how can we buy the series without paying again for a volume we already have??!!!. I know it's possible to speak to a sales representative and negotiate a discount, but this does seem a bit clunky, especially for those of us who are calling from overseas. Logos knows what resources we have and so do we - can't we have a price calculator which automatically adjusts for previously owned volumes? And perhaps even shows the discount for the books already owned?
I remember ringing a sales operative once, who told me that very little discount can be given for resources purchased years previous, but a resource is a resource, if I were to buy that same resource now they would be able to give a discount so why can't it be simply done on the basis of what's in my library and what's not??!! I guess this is a pipe dream and someone will tell me that it's far more complicated than it appears to be on the surface, and no doubt there are financial implications for Logos, but it would be lovely if someone could give this sort of thing some serious thought! Thanks. [:)]
